Todd Shapiro joined his father, Howard, at The Shapiro Law Firm in the spring of 2003. He was born and raised in Plano and attended Plano schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating in 1993. He was then accepted at The University of Texas receiving a B.A. degree in Government. He went on to graduate from The University of Texas School of Law in 2000 and passed the Texas Bar Exam in November 2000. Todd began his career in law serving as an Assistant District Attorney for Dallas County. In the District Attorney's Office, he prosecuted misdemeanor and felony crimes including DWI, theft, and family violence and was quickly promoted to lead counsel on many felony trials. In three short years with the Dallas District Attorney's office, Todd tried more than 130 cases ranging from DWI to aggravated assault and his vast experience prosecuting crimes has provided invaluable insight with strategies for clients at The Shapiro Law Firm. Todd Shapiro resides with his wife in Frisco.
